This 4x4 5-speed Tacoma SR5 V6 3.4 liter engine is an absolute gem! I’ve always loved these Tacomas but with moving to the city it just doesn’t make sense to keep 2 cars anymore.

These things are bullet-proof and have a track record of lasting forever, having a strong yet simple enough engine, and being fun to maintain. I had the frame repaired this year where the leaf springs attach to the front of the frame as seen in the photos.

I've kept extensive records of work done to the car, including a Toyota factory rebuild of the engine at 142k miles (I like to think that means this has at least a 142k extra miles on it because of that (all info down lower about the rebuild)).

The last of the 6-foot-bed mid-sized trucks out there, great for hauling or sleeping in the extra-tall Leer cap.

This car spent its first 22 years of life in the open ranges of Utah, Idaho and Montana and away from the rusty streets of NY - before making the journey to NY after covid.

Some things:
- Newer battery
- Clutch Replaced in 2022
- New A/C Compressor last year
- Always kept up with top-line synthetic oil changes
- Last year under-carriage was Fluid Film Rustproofing sprayed, I refinished a few areas with Krown Rust Prevention this year
- New front and rear breaks as well as discs and drums. New brake lines ran to the rear.
- Spark plugs replaced within the last 5000 miles.
- New Differential fluid

Also in the past 3 years: New shocks and rear suspension, new starter and alternator.

Of course over the years it's seen its adventures, has some wearing paint and a couple rust spots here and there.
